Arizona Snowbowl: First High-Speed 6-Pack

Resort officials announced they are building Arizona’s first high-speed six-person lift in 2016. The Grand Canyon Express will provide high-speed access to more than 85% of the mountain with a six-minute ride time, and officials expect to open the lift as early as November 2016.

Not only will this new lift be Arizona’s first and only high-speed 6-pack, but it is just the second chairlift of this capacity in the Southwest (Purgatory Resort also features a high-speed 6-pack).
