Pats Peak announcing capital improvements for the 2021-2022 season

Henniker, NH,– PATS PEAK, Southern New Hampshire’s local family-owned mountain, announces 2021-2022 capital improvements. This season marks the 59th consecutive ski and snowboard season under the same family ownership.

For the upcoming season, PATS PEAK continues to focus its improvements on guest experience. Through these efforts PATS PEAK continues to be a number one destination for skiers and riders in southern NH.

“We are proud that PATS PEAK continues to be a local family-owned business. Each year our ownership reinvests in our mountain. Having an exceptional snow product remains a top priority for us. We’re continuing to upgrade our snowmaking system by adding additional snowmaking fan guns and our two new grooming machines will provide a nice smooth surface for our guests to enjoy the mountain,” commented General Manager, Kris Blomback.

This year’s list of capital improvements for the 2021-2022 season include
  • Two New Grooming Machines:
    • The Prinoth Bison X is the perfect blend of an all-around grooming performance. It has a powerful but efficient Caterpillar Tier 4 certified engine with the latest emissions control technology to achieve a 90% reduction in emissions. It carries a full array of terrain park building features. The Bison X has a Posi-Flex tiller with adjustable snow chamber to produce superior snow conditions and the finest ski surface possible.
    • The Prinoth Husky X is a small but versatile machine. It has a powerful and efficient Mercedes engine that meets and exceeds the most stringent emissions regulations. The machine’s compact size and agility, coupled with renowned performance, make the Husky X the perfect tool to work in our smaller terrain park, expand our tubing operation from 4 lanes to 6-8 lanes and build terrain learning features.
  • Additional Energy-Efficient Snowmaking Fan Guns and New Snowmaking Pipe
PATS PEAK continues to increase their snowmaking capabilities by adding to an arsenal that already gives the mountain 100% snow coverage. PATS Peak was one of the first ski areas in New Hampshire to offer snowmaking and continues to be a ski industry leader. The ability to open terrain quickly remains a top priority. Their annual upgrade to snowmaking provides them with five new HKD Diablo fans. They also added new snowmaking pipe connecting Breeze to Duster.

Parking Lot Upgrades
PATS PEAK parking lots are receiving some major upgrades as almost all of the travel lanes will be regraded and paved for the upcoming season. Also, new drainage will be extensively installed to create a smoother ride through the parking lots.

Significant Carpeting Upgrades
To keep it fresh and provide a new look, both the lodges at PATS PEAK have received upgrades with the installation of new carpets. This enhances the guest experience in the winter and also during the summer banquet season.

Air Conditioning Upgrade
The PATS PEAK BANQUET CENTER, “The Other Season of Pats Peak”, is a popular banquet location hosting many weddings and other events during the months of April through December. During the summer months, Pats Peak banquet guests enjoy air conditioning in both lodges and this year’s improvements include additional air conditioning in the new lodge expansion.

Season Passes remain some of the most value driven options in ski country. PATS Peak offers 100% snowmaking, one of the earliest to open ski area in southern NH, night skiing featuring NH’s only beginner run off the summit-open both day and night, 11 lifts with tremendous uphill lift capacity and base lodges designed with skiers and riders in mind.
