Sunkid/Neveplast: Innovation on the plastic slope market

Plastic slopes, also often referred to as dry slopes, have been enabling winter sports year-round for a few years now. This year has seen the introduction of a true innovation by Neveplast!

The NP30 mats of Sunkid’s partner Neveplast are an outstanding base for summer skiing and permit use of one’s skiing equipment year-round. The special plastic mats realistically reproduce the properties of snow on a kind of skiing slope that is independent of the weather and does not even require any special ground preparation or watering facilities.

A passion for skiing, ongoing research and development have revolutionised the NP30 mats. The new NP30 Freeski plastic slopes can be used for improving skiing and snowboarding skills on all levels.

Technical adjustments and a changed geometry make the new NP30 Freeski mats feel closer to natural snow than the original NP30 ones.
The main features of the newly developed mats are:
  • Optimal lateral support.
  • Very high gliding capacity and the same friction coefficient as snow.
  • High safety level.
  • Ideal for fun in snow parks (box, jump, rail).
  • Perfect training opportunity for everyone who wants to swing through the slalom and giant slalom gates as if on snow.
  • Very easy to install.
  • Environmentally compatible product.
Sunkid and Neveplast are not the only ones who love the mats. Michela Moiol, who took home Olympic gold from the Winter Games in Pyeongchang in 2018, does, too: “I have felt good on Neveplast Freeski from the very first moment. The first thing I was thinking was: Wow. This is so much fun! It feels like snowboarding on fresh snow. It’s simple and ideal for any skill level.”

The mats are not only suitable for pros like Michela Moiol, but also for skiing and snowboarding beginners. They offer a ground or flooring that is guaranteed to be smooth while providing excellent edge grip.
