PyxisAi Launches at Winter Park Resort (Colorado)

PyxisAi announces the first commercial installation of its patented technology at the load and unload terminals of the Gemini Express and Prospector Express lifts. The PyxisAi System uses artificial intelligence to detect potential problems with ski lift loading and unloading and alerts ski area staff if slowing or stopping the lift could assist. At the start of the season, the PyxisAi System will use audible alerts and lights to signal when slowing or stopping the lift could aid with proper loading and unloading. Later in the season, at Winter Park’s discretion, the PyxisAi system could be configured to integrate with the lift control and directly slow or stop the lift when it detects developing situations.
