Let ‘er Rip! Grand opening of the newly upgraded Rip's Ride with Breck community and Summit County Rescue Group!
The chairlift was upgraded over the summer to a new high-speed quad and while some of the components of the old chair were upcycled and reused on 6-Chair, Breck was able to auction off many of the old double chairs. As a result of that auction, Breck is honored to present Summit County Rescue Group with a check for $50,000.
The opening of Rip's Ride today expands the terrain footprint to more than 75 acres of skiing and riding, and is a great addition to the Peak 8 experience for beginners and ski school guests. It will also provide easy access to Peak 9.
