Doppelmayr: New London Luton Airport DART
The new Cable Liner® Double Shuttle system transports passengers from Luton Parkway Station to the airport terminal in just three minutes. This allows to be at Luton Airport Terminal from Central London King's Cross/St Pancras Station within less than half an hour.
The modern and sustainable system of Doppelmayr impresses with its capacity, reliability, and energy efficiency. The link with a length of approximately 2 km will be operated by a professional O&M Team of Doppelmayr over a period of five years with an option to extend by another five years. The official opening will be early next year.
Last week Doppelmayr had the honor of a Royal Visit by HRH King Charles III, being one of just a few having taken a ride on the Luton DART.
