Demaclenko: Energy consumption halved

Did you know that DEMACLENKO has significantly improved the energy efficiency of snow guns over the past 20 years?

AND THE ENERGY SAVINGS ARE MEASURABLE!

The energy efficiency of a snow gun can be demonstrated by the ESR, which stands for Energy-Snow-Ratio. It’s measured in kWh/m³ and describes how much energy is used to produce one cubic meter of snow. The lower the figure, the better the efficiency.

For example, a fan gun in the year 2000 (on the left) achieved an ESR of 1.45 kWh/m³ at a wet bulb temperature of –4°C, whereas the Titan 4.0 of 2020 (on the right) operates at 0.7 kWh/m³. This means that Titan 4.0 needs only half as much energy to produce the same amount of snow.
