Cardrona / NZ: New Soho Basin chairlift - 150ha of new terrain 2025

A brand-new 6-seater detachable Doppelmayr chairlift will be installed over the next two summers, ready to open for Winter 2025.

The Soho Basin Express will open up playful terrain, awesome snow, amazing steep stuff, and heaps to explore!

The project is broken into two stages; Stage 1 is building and installing the lift and snowmaking facilities. Stage 2 will involve upgrading our food and beverage outlets throughout the resort to keep your experience at its best.
