Pats Peak Ski Area announces new race director to dreive competitive excelenceHenniker, NH,– Pats Peak, a premier family snowsports destination in New Hampshire, announces Robbie Holland as the new Pats Peak Race Director. Robbie has been part of Pats Peak, in one capacity or another, for close to 40 years. With that experience, he understands the nuance of the Pats Peak facility and his expertise in their operations is crucial to running the race department. Robbie is widely recognized as one of the state’s leading experts in racing, with unparalleled knowledge of the industry. Over the years, Robbie has built a distinguished career, contributing to the success of numerous events and earning the respect of peers and athletes alike. With a deep understanding of ski racecourse design, event management, and athlete development, Robbie has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence. Robbie brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of elevating race programs to new heights. “It makes sense to put all our racing program under one director. We’ve experienced considerable growth in the different channels of racing and it’s an area we want to focus on going forward. Robbie will bring our racing programming to the next level. We’re excited that he is taking on this role within our management team”, says Kris Blomback, Pats Peak’s General Manager. As the Director of the Pats Peak Race Department, Robbie will oversee the High School Race Program, College Races, and the Adult/Corporate Racing Series. In addition to the role of the Pats Peak Race Director, Robbie will continue to be the Program Director for the Pats Peak Ski Team (PPST). The Pats Peak Ski Team is an independent club that works closely with Pats Peak, training young athletes from 6 to 18+. PPST works under the guide of US Ski & Snowboard and NHARA (NH Alpine Racing Association). PATS PEAK has 28 well-groomed trails for all abilities, 9 gladed areas, 2 terrain parks, a snowtubing park, 11 lifts, 100 percent snowmaking and some of the most challenging skiing in Southern New Hampshire. PATS PEAK has a Weekday Learn to Ski and Ride Program for more than 8,000 kids from over 100 local schools. There are more than 70 Adult/Corporate Racing teams in the Adult/Corporate Racing League. Many adults participate in the weekday Adult Ski & Snowboard Clinics for all ability levels. PATS PEAK has 100% of its trails on the main mountain lit for night skiing/riding and is one of the state’s most accessible learn-to-ski-and-snowboard mountains, with three separate beginner areas.
