After an incredible 44 years in the ski industry, Jay Gamble, General Manager of Wintergreen Resort, is officially hanging up his radio. From parking cars at Beech Mountain in the 1970s, to leading top resorts across the East Coast, Jay's journey has been nothing short of inspiring.

His leadership has shaped mountain communities from Killington and Sunday River to Mount Sunapee, Ragged Mountain Resort, and most recently, Wintergreen, where he’s been at the helm since 2021. Jay brought his signature mantra—“Be Helpful and Friendly”—to every mountain he touched, mentoring future leaders and creating guest experiences that left a lasting impression.
