The Doppelmayr Group at Mountain Planet 2026From April 21 to 23, 2026, the Doppelmayr Group will once again be presenting its latest innovations at the Mountain Planet trade fair in Grenoble (FRA). At stand 1531 in Hall 1, the ropeway experts will showcase numerous developments from a wide range of disciplines. Visitors can, for example, find out more about AURO with its latest milestone AURO Assist, the TRI-Line ropeway system, the Connect control system and the latest digital services relating to customer support as well as the resort management platform clair. Customized cabins from current highlight projects and the Bike Cab for bicycle transport round off the experience at the exhibition stand. Comfortable: Cabin experiences Visitors to the Doppelmayr Group stand at Mountain Planet 2026 will be given a unique impression of some of the latest ropeway highlights. They will be able to take a seat in the latest STELLA cabin model in the Hoch‑Ybrig design (CHE) or discover the exceptional fittings of the OMEGA V‑10 XL, which are already in operation on the urban Câble C1 ropeway in the Île‑de‑France region in the greater Paris area (FRA) as part of the public transport network. In addition, the ATRIA cabin for Grand Montets (FRA) is set to attract everybody’s attention. Autonomous: AURO success concept With AURO (Autonomous Ropeway Operation), the autonomous operating system for ropeways, the Doppelmayr Group launched an industry milestone onto the market. Based on the experience gained from numerous projects, the system is continuously being further developed. The latest advancement is AURO Assist – a support system in the valley station of chairlifts that uses AI to analyze passenger boarding behavior. This ensures that only chairs with correctly seated passengers are released onto the line. After an intensive test phase, AURO Assist was presented for the first time at the INTERALPIN trade fair in Innsbruck and has already been in operation on the first chairlifts since the 2025/26 winter season. Record-breaking: TRI-Line carriage TRI-Line is Doppelmayr’s latest and most innovative 3S technology. It combines the advantages of the tricable system with those of the D-Line ropeway generation. The heart of the ropeway system is the newly developed eight‑roller carriage. TRI-Line is a true all‑rounder across all fields of application: long spans, large height differences, high wind stability and an unmatched transport capacity of 8,000 passengers per hour and direction are among its defining characteristics – all with a minimal footprint thanks to its compact design. Visitors to Mountain Planet 2026 will be able to view the carriage of the new system up close at the Doppelmayr Group stand. Summer operation: Bike transport With the Bike Cab, Doppelmayr is bringing the most elegant way of transporting bicycles by gondola lift to a trade fair in France for the first time. Up to eight bikes can be carried in one Bike Cab – and visitors can see for themselves exactly how this works. Customer-oriented: Next-level service With increased transparency and efficiency as well as improved communication with the customer support team, the newly developed Doppelmayr Group customer portal marks a milestone in collaboration. There have also been significant advances in the area of customer training. With Digital Training, ropeway know‑how is available anytime and anywhere – simple, efficient and up to the minute. Digital: clair as an app As a digital assistant, clair supports the management of operation and maintenance in a resort. This platform solution brings together a resort’s infrastructure in one central system and provides operating companies with tools to increase the reliability and availability of their installations. With the new clair app, the proven web‑based solution has now been optimized for mobile use and is therefore ready for use anywhere. Visitors to the Doppelmayr Group stand can gain insights into and an outlook on the capabilities of clair. Connected: Connect Cabin Connect is the reliable control system from the Doppelmayr Group. It offers many functional benefits and focuses on the needs of users with its intuitive and clearly laid‑out ropeway operating interface. In addition to stations and the line, a key focus is naturally on the passenger area – more specifically, the cabin. Functions such as communication, lighting, ventilation and infotainment features offer numerous options for customizing cabin fittings. Ideally, these functions are integrated and centrally connected to the ropeway control system. City Cable Car Solutions – 3CS This year, Mountain Planet is placing a special focus on ropeways as an innovative solution for the development of urban mobility through the City Cable Car Solutions (3CS) congress format. Developed in partnership with INTERALPIN, where this industry platform was launched for the first time in 2025, the event features a varied supporting program with discussions, presentations and opportunities for exchange with experts.
