Plan ahead with confidence: Successful TechnoAlpiin SnowFactory Projects

There are already over 120 plants in operation worldwide – from mobile solutions to large-scale projects with a production capacity of up to 1,000 m³ of snow per day, demonstrating the technology’s scalability and adaptability to diverse operational requirements.

One superb example is the Monínec ski area in the Czech Republic, where seven SnowFactory machines were installed there in 2025, including four POLAR models and a new pumping station. Control is provided via ATASSpro. Due to the lack of sufficiently long cold windows, the start of the season in mid-November is entirely dependent on the SnowFactory – with success: Monínec remains one of the first ski areas in the country to open each year. The benefits extend to partner resorts such as Rokytnice nad Jizerou, which also achieved an early season start using the same technology.

In Nowa Osada (Poland), installation under a tight schedule posed particular challenges. An ARCTIC and a POLAR plan were successfully put into operation within just ten days – testament to the technical expertise and efficient cooperation of the TechnoAlpin Service team in Eastern Europe.

The projects underline the central role of the SnowFactory in modern ski operations and its importance for future-proof snowmaking.
