Mountaincart at Mountain Planet 2026

Lively exchange between customers, prospects, and the Mountaincart team

Mountain Planet 2026 in Grenoble showed its most vibrant side this year: crowded aisles, familiar faces, and numerous new connections shaped the event. The Mountaincart team was especially pleased to welcome many long-standing customers to the booth—some of whom have been working with the company for nearly two decades.

A particular highlight was the presence of international delegations, including representatives from Japan and several Central Asian countries, where mountain carts are already being used successfully. Encounters like these continually demonstrate how globally established the concept is and how versatile its applications can be. The team was also pleased to welcome Consul General Ms. Jessica Engel from the German Consulate in Lyon, with whom they had an engaging exchange.

There was a lively atmosphere at the stand on all three days of the trade fair. In addition to loyal customers, many new interested visitors took the opportunity to learn firsthand about the wide range of applications for mountain carts—both in summer and in winter. Particularly valuable was the direct exchange between experienced operators and potential newcomers.

Today, the mountain cart community already includes more than 180 destinations in over 40 countries. Many operators report sustainable tourism success, increasing visitor numbers, and attractive additional revenue streams. It is therefore no surprise that the concept is frequently recommended within the industry.
In addition to current innovations that further enhance riding comfort while improving the durability of the carts, the flexible entry options into the rental business—from on-site testing to seasonal rental with a purchase option—were also met with consistently positive feedback.

Mountain Planet 2026 was therefore not just a trade fair, but a vibrant meeting point for exchange, inspiration, and new perspectives—once again sending a strong signal for the future of the industry.
