Doppelmayr at Mountain Planet 2026

The Doppelmayr Group once again showcased its latest innovations at the "Mountain Planet" trade fair in Grenoble (FRA). The ropeway experts presented numerous developments across a wide range of disciplines.

Visitors were able to learn about AURO and its newest development, AURO Assist, the TRI-Line ropeway system, the Connect control system, and the latest digital customer services, as well as the resort management platform clair. Custom cabins from current flagship projects and the Bike Cab for bicycle transport rounded off the exhibition stand experience.

Comfortable: Cabin Experiences

At the Doppelmayr Group stand at Mountain Planet 2026, visitors gained a unique impression of current ropeway highlights. On-site, they could take a seat in the latest STELLA cabin model featuring the Hoch-Ybrig design (CHE) or experience the exceptional features of the OMEGA V-10 XL. These are already part of the public transport network on the urban ropeway Câble C1 in Île-de-France, Greater Paris (FRA). Additionally, the ATRIA cabin for Grand Montets (FRA) drew significant attention.

Autonomous: The AURO Success Concept

With AURO (Autonomous Ropeway Operation), the Doppelmayr Group has introduced a milestone in autonomous operating concepts for the industry. Based on experience from numerous projects, the system is undergoing continuous development. The latest evolution is AURO Assist – a support system for chairlift bottom stations that uses AI to analyze passenger boarding behavior. This ensures that only chairs with correctly seated passengers proceed onto the line. Following an intensive testing phase, AURO Assist was first unveiled at the INTERALPIN trade fair in Innsbruck and has been in operation on the first chairlifts since the 2025/26 winter season.

Record-Breaking: The TRI-Line Carriage

The TRI-Line is Doppelmayr’s newest and most innovative 3S technology. It combines the advantages of the tri-cable system with those of the D-Line ropeway generation. The heart of this system is the newly developed eight-roller carriage. The TRI-Line is an all-rounder for all applications: long rope spans, significant height differences, high wind stability, and an unrivaled transport capacity of 8,000 passengers per hour per direction. All this is achieved with a small footprint thanks to its compact design. Visitors at Mountain Planet 2026 were able to inspect the carriage of this new system up close.

Summer Operation: Bike Transport

With the Bike Cab, Doppelmayr brought the most elegant way to transport bicycles via gondola to the trade fair in France. Up to eight bikes can be transported in a single Bike Cab—and visitors were able to test exactly how it works for themselves.

Customer-Oriented: Next-Level Service

The Doppelmayr Group's newly developed customer portal marks a milestone in collaboration, offering increased transparency, efficiency, and improved communication with the customer service team. Significant progress has also been made in customer training: with Digital Training, ropeway knowledge is available anytime, anywhere—simple, efficient, and modern.

Digital: clair as an App

As a digital assistant, clair supports the management of operations and maintenance within a resort. This platform solution centralizes a resort's infrastructure and provides operators with tools to increase the reliability and availability of their installations. With the new clair app, the proven web-based solution is now mobile-optimized and ready for use anywhere.

Connected: Connect Cabin

Connect is the reliable control system from the Doppelmayr Group. It offers many functional advantages and focuses on user needs through intuitive and clear ropeway operation. In addition to the station and the line, a key focus is naturally the passenger area—specifically, the cabin. Functions such as communication, lighting, ventilation, and infotainment features offer many options for customizing cabin equipment. Ideally, these are integrated and centrally connected to the ropeway control system.
