Bolton Valley Announces Nick Lemire as General ManagerBolton Valley has announced the promotion of Nick Lemire to General Manager, marking the next chapter in a decade-long career at the independently owned Vermont resort. Lemire first joined Bolton Valley in 2016 as the After School Program Coordinator for the resort’s Ski & Ride Program. After one year in the role, he was promoted to Ski & Ride Manager, serving from 2017–2019 before being promoted again to Director of Guest Experience where he oversaw all guest-facing departments. Now stepping into the role of General Manager, Lemire brings more than 11 years of experience in the ski industry and a deep understanding of Bolton Valley’s culture, operations, and community. Prior to joining Bolton Valley, Lemire worked at Okemo Mountain Resort in Ludlow, VT and previously served as a teaching tennis professional at Cape Fear Country Club in Wilmington, NC. Lemire says he was initially drawn to Bolton Valley by the opportunity to work at a locally owned, family-owned ski resort and has remained committed to the community-oriented culture that defines the mountain. “For many of us, Bolton Valley is much more than a ski resort,” said Lemire. “Bolton Valley has always been about more than skiing and riding. It’s the people, the community, and the experience of being here. I feel really grateful for the opportunity to help lead a mountain that means so much to so many people.” “Nick has demonstrated incredible leadership since joining Bolton Valley a decade ago,” said Lindsay DesLauriers, President of Bolton Valley. “Over the years, he has consistently taken on more responsibility within the company and has been transformative at every step. I’m excited to see what he brings to this new role, and Bolton Valley is incredibly fortunate to have him leading our operation.” As General Manager, Lemire says his focus will remain on preserving the spirit of Bolton Valley while continuing to improve the experience for guests, employees, and the local community. “We have an incredible team of dedicated people who care deeply about this mountain, and I’m excited to work alongside them as we build on the strong foundation already in place.” “Much like most of our skiers and riders, this mountain has a special place in my heart too,” Lemire added. “I’m looking forward to continuing to connect with our community and to continue to make Bolton Valley an affordable, year-round outdoor destination for everyone.” About Bolton Valley Located in the Green Mountains of Vermont, Bolton Valley is an independently owned, family-operated four-season resort known for its night skiing, extensive backcountry access, mountain biking, live events, and welcoming mountain community.
