Okemo Mountain Resort: Modernizing our snowmaking infrastructureReducing our environmental impact. The new Summit Valve House. Once complete, this will be an enclosed station housing critical valves, manifolds, and other snowmaking components used to control the flow of compressed air and high-pressure water to our snowguns. Located on skier's left of Jolly Green Giant (near the top), Okemo is doubling up on all charge valves within the structure and adding higher-pressure valving, which will drastically improve reliability during charging operations. Previously, the team's been operating with three different summit valve houses. Being able to demo those and replace them with just one saves Okemo team a lot of time going between them all to fire up and adjust our snowmaking. And this is just the beginning! Also on the docket:
