Indy Pass welcomes four additional resorts

Indy Pass has now added 48 resorts across 14 countries since last winter.

Lake Tahoe’s Donner Ski Ranch joins returning Montage Mountain in Pennsylvania to headline the final resort additions for 2025-26, along with Kaunertaler Gletscher in Austria, Magic Mountain Resort in Idaho, Leavenworth Ski Hill in Washington, and Kartalkaya Dorukkaya Ski Resort in Turkey. The addition of Donner Ski Ranch in California reinforces Indy Pass’s growing network of independent ski areas in the Western States. Indy Pass is proud to rewelcome Montage Mountain, providing incredible access for skiers/riders near New York City & Philadelphia.

“We were able to release additional passes this month due to our significant resort additions this summer, along with the increased capacity that they will provide. But we have now reached our projected pass limit,” said Indy Pass Managing Director Erik Mogensen. “We’re not going to compromise the sport and culture of independent skiing by prioritizing profit over our passholders. We need to safeguard the welcoming and uncrowded on-mountain experiences they offer. That’s why it’s going off sale.”

Learn to Turn Pass Adds Eight More Resorts

The new Learn to Turn Pass will be valid at a growing list of 39 Indy resorts as eight more signed on in the past two weeks. The pass will be available through December for $189 and includes three lessons, rental equipment, and lift tickets at any mixture of participating Indy resorts. It’s designed specifically for first-time skiers and snowboarders aged 6 and up and offers an unprecedented value packaged in a 3-day pass product.

“We are stoked about the initial response to the Learn to Turn program and the support from our resort partners and passholders alike,” said Indy Pass Founder, Doug Fish. “The Indy community is responding in a big way by encouraging newcomers to join and grow the sport we all know and love.”

License Plate Program Comes to An End

Indy Pass is announcing the conclusion of their “License Plate Club”, launched earlier this summer. In just a few short months, Indy Pass has awarded a free 25/26 Indy Pass to nearly 500 fans across 41 US states and Canadian provinces in exchange for their registration of a custom “Indy Pass” license plate. Many of whom have proudly shared images of their vanity plates in the Indy Passholder’s Facebook Group.

“This program exploded way bigger than we expected”, admitted Erik Mogensen, Indy Pass Managing Director. “The level of dedication and commitment to our cause is evidenced by our amazing passholders, who we truly believe are the best you could ask for. We are grateful for them, and remain focused on our shared vision to support the independent side of skiing.
