enrope: Refit of the H?llwies Lift in Germany

enrope GmbH is pleased to announce the successful commissioning of the Höllwies lift.

Oberstdorf Bergbahn AG commissioned enrope GmbH with the refit of the Höllwies lift. The decommissioned drag lift, opened in 1962, was once the longest surface lift in Germany.

The new installation has been equipped with a modern LUIS tensioning station and a WILLI drive station, while the existing line — with towers, rope and drag equipment — has been reused. The project combines ecological and economic sustainability and brings two legendary runs back to life.
