Statement Pacific Group Resorts:

After more than a decade of managing Ragged Mountain Resort, Pacific Group Resorts' formal role has come to a close.

While we never owned Ragged, it’s always been a foundational part of our mountain family. Over the past 11 years, we’ve had the privilege of working with a passionate and talented team that helped transform Ragged into one of New England’s most beloved local mountains—achieving record visitation, pioneering Mission Affordable, and growing a loyal community of skiers and riders.

Ownership has officially transitioned to SF Mountain Co., a locally based group with deep ties to the resort and a clear commitment to preserving its welcoming, affordable, community-first culture. Erik Barnes will continue as general manager, providing consistency and leadership under the new ownership.

We’re working closely with SF Mountain Co. and the Ragged team over the coming weeks to ensure a smooth handover and a strong start to the 2025–26 season.

Reciprocal pass benefits with PGR resorts—including Jay Peak Resort, Wisp Resort, Mount Washington Alpine Resort, Wintergreen Resort, and Powderhorn Mountain Resort—will remain in place for the coming winter.
