7 New Runs Coming to Angel Fire Resort This Winter

Big things are happening on the mountain! Angel Fire Resort is expanding its ski terrain with seven new runs debuting this winter, including the resort’s first-ever double black diamond trails. These latest additions open up fresh ways to explore the mountain, whether you’re an expert seeking steeper glades or an intermediate skier looking for more room to roam.

Our First Double Black Diamond Runs

This season marks an exciting milestone for Angel Fire: the introduction of three new double black diamond runs designed for advanced skiers and riders who crave challenge and adventure. These trails feature purposefully cut glades: steep, tree-lined terrain that rewards precision and confidence while maintaining the natural beauty of the mountain. These new double black diamond runs include:

• Hell’s Gate – A steep, technical run that drops into thrilling gladed terrain.
• Turbulence – True to its name, this expert run delivers an exhilarating ride through tight trees and rolling contours.

New Blue and Black Runs to Explore

• For skiers who prefer something a little less extreme, Angel Fire is also adding two new blue runs and another black run to round out the mountain experience.
• • Heaven Sent (Blue) – A scenic new trail that follows the Angel Express lift line, giving guests a stunning view as they carve their way down.
• • Kofler’s Run (Blue) – Located next to Lucky #7, this intermediate run offers a smooth, flowing descent that is ideal for building confidence and speed.
• • Deer Glade (Black) – Formerly known as Bo Glade, this run offers an exciting challenge with its natural contours and spaced trees.
