TechnoAlpin organizes the year into four essential service phases designed to ensure reliable snowmaking performance when it matters most in late autumn: Beginning, Equipment, Action and Target. Like a perfectly composed piece of music, high-performance snowmaking depends on timing, coordination and the right B.E.A.T.

 

At the end of the winter season, operational insights are still fresh: Which operation conditions posed challenges? Which components require specific attention or replacement? Now is the moment to take stock.

 

During the first phase – Beginning – all critical system components, including snow guns, pump stations and control software, undergo comprehensive inspection. Wear, damage and technical irregularities are identified early and precisely documented. This detailed analysis provides the foundation for all subsequent maintenance and optimization steps in the following phases.

Beyond technical evaluation, the post-season period is the perfect opportunity to further develop the skills of the snowmaking crews. The ACADEMY offers practical, hands-on training programs covering the correct operation and maintenance of snow guns, pump stations and control systems, whether on site or in one of the training centers of TechnoAlpin.

For instance, in 2026, the ACADEMY will introduce in March the first Maintenance Workshop, starting in Italy. During this event, attendees will discuss how to take maintenance operations to the next level, along with customer testimonials and in-depth presentation of the B.E.A.T. concept.
