LEITNER launches major technology initiative at Mountain Planet 2026

Mountain Planet is considered a key platform for planning and innovation in the alpine region and takes place in alternate years to INTERALPIN, which is held in Innsbruck. LEITNER will bring its newly designed exhibition stand to Grenoble for the first time, making it a focal point of the industry get-together from April 21 to 23.

Trade visitors will gain structured insights into new technologies and applications for ropeway systems at Stand 1099 in Hall 1.

At Grenoble, LEITNER will focus on showcasing ROPERA® as a new standard for monocable uni-directional ropeways. The system combines performance, sustainability and flexibility across all components and is designed to offer low-noise operation, a high level of occupational safety, ease of maintenance and reduced life cycle costs.

LEITNER will showcase technical developments relating to ROPERA® to the Mountain Planet audience in a dedicated area at its new exhibition stand. The bike transport for chairlifts will also be presented at the exhibition stand, as a solution for year-round operation.

In addition, LEITNER will also have a separate area dedicated to customer service, which will focus on the Customer Service Competence Center in Leini, Italy and the digital spare parts webshop. Practical examples of the work that is carried out at the Competence Center, including the comparison of an overhauled and non-overhauled grip will be shown.

Alongside the traditional alpine themes, the Mountain Planet trade fair will focus on the topic of urban ropeways. The CITY CABLE CAR SOLUTIONS “3CS” industry platform, presented for the first time in Grenoble, is creating a forum for exchanging ideas on ropeway-based mobility solutions in an urban context. Participants will have the opportunity to register for a guided tour and to gain in-depth insights in direct dialogue with LEITNER experts at the Leitner stand after the conference.
