The Remarkables - Shadow Basin Update

That’s the new direction of the lift as the diggers are making their way up the hill. 

The team continue to make great progress. We’ve already poured concrete for over half of the foundations and are steadily making our way towards the top station. 

Last week mechanical installation started at the bottom station - this marks a significant milestone in our journey, and we can't wait to see the new lift in action in a few months! 

There’s no slow down in developments for the New Zealand ski industry! 

It’s official - Cardrona will be installing a state-of-the-art 6-seater detachable D-Line chairlift. Civil works are set to commence this summer, followed by mechanical assembly, with handover scheduled ready to have the lift ready for winter 2025.

We are thrilled to partner with Cardrona once again to unlock a new world of terrain for their guests.
