Bright green towers for the new Doppelmayr world record cable car in the Caribbean

On the small island of Dominica, guests will soon be able to reach the world's second-largest thermal spring, the Boiling Lake, via the longest cable car in the world in just under 20 minutes. Until now, a seven-hour hike through the Morne Trois Pitons National Park was necessary. The cable car will span an impressive 6.6 kilometers and contribute to the ecological and economic development of the area.

For this project, Gassner Stahlbau is manufacturing all 21 supports. The special green color is intended to help the project blend even better into the lush jungle landscape. Additionally, the specialized paint provides corrosion protection, as there are many sulfur springs in this area.
