Sun Valley: Seattle Ridge Project Progress

With intermediate runs that make family mountain days more fun and tree-skiing that challenges experts, Bald Mountain's Seattle Ridge area is getting the “lift” this special terrain deserves. Officially started on April 22, 2024, the second phase of our multi-year improvement plan will kick off with the replacement of the Seattle Ridge Chairlift, improving skier circulation and terrain access to this much-loved area of Bald Mountain.

Exciting times as June 2024 kicks off with progress soaring high at the Seattle Ridge Project! From earth-shaking excavations to dirt work laying the foundation for the new top and bottom terminal stations, crews are hard at work to prepare for the installation of this brand new lift!
